This is just a quick update, so you know whats going on here.
We are playing in the ESL 4on4 CTF QuakeLive cup with our old team, after 3 years of no-show, qubism is back and playing. We are about to play our first (hopefully not the last) game in the playoffs vs. LKFF
So why are there no news? Its because we are working on a new and better homepage. As soon as this gets done you will see what happens....be prepared, its not just going to be a new design

As mentioned in the news before we signed up for this season of ClanBase Springcups in Q3CTF and RA3.

After months without news, this is going to be the first news in which I want to give you a small overview about our activities.
First of all we are just about to finish the Kuh3Liga Quake 3 CTF season. We didn`t practice much, so the results aren`t that good, we hope we can do better next season.
Next week there is going to start the Net-Leet Quake 3 CTF season in which we are going to play in Division 3:

For this season we will be changing our homemap q3wcp1, because it didn`t bring any luck to us in the last two seasons. Our first match will be on Sunday, around 21:00CET or a bit later, not sure about this one yet, but we will announce it on our page and we will have a scorebot in #qubism.
From now on we will post news and the latest match-results again.

YES! We are going to play in the first TDM cup brought to you by ClanBase and administrated by hoshi and tide. This is no official ClanBase cup, but a community cup and something like the first test before the ClanBase OpenCup.

Und ja, endlich ein orgnisierter Warsow TDM Cup bei ClanBase, organisiert von hoshi und tide. Auch wenn es "nur" ein Hosted-Cup und kein offizieller CB Cup ist, wir sind dabei und erhoffen uns ein bisschen Training bevor dann hoffentlich bald die offiziellen CB Cups beginnen.

After some months of low activity it`s again TdM who releases a final map in our mapping-section.
Since he is our official TDM-mapper, it is of course a Warsow TDM map which includes the standard items like Quad-damage, Red armor and so on.
What makes it special are the movement-gimmicks and the well made glas-effects.
Right now it`s not in its final stadium, but there won`t be any gameplay-changes anymore, TdM will only change some graphical details, so don`t be afraid to try out his great map. It is made for 4on4, but it`s not too big for 2on2 as well, so give it a try.

After some months of abstinence we are proud to be back with a new cup-format, the "Attack on the community" cups.
Of course we are not going to search for the addresses of each player and send someone to kill him, this is about to be a cup-series to bring the small community of the quake-world together.
In the next weeks we will be doing several cups, Warsow, Quake3 and Quake4(Delta-CTF).

The first cup to happen is a CPMA VQ3 CTF 5on5 cup where you can prove your skills and test cpma vq3 for CTF for the first time.
The cup will be on Thursday and starts at 20:30CET, we will be sponsoring different servers with different ISPs so you will at least have some servers to play on.
After registering please make sure you are available on that date and contact me on our IRC channel #qubism from 20:00CET until 20:15CET, this is something like a check-in.

After having 2 map-contests for Quake4 and Warsow, we had a new idea and it seems to work out.
We created our own mapping-team, which will officialy be mapping for us, doing several projects like the "qubism-map".
In return the guys working in our mapping-team will get full support from us, with an own section on our homepage, a soon coming server with all their maps (betas, alphas and finals) on it and much more.

Nachdem die CPL gestern bekannt gab, dass Quake3 als Turnierspiel für die anstehenden Lans benutzt wird, haben viele Leute in einem ESR.com-Thread über ein Quake3 Startup Pack unterhalten.
Ich habe altbekannte Maps zusammengesucht und auch einige neue, bzw. unbenutzte rausgesucht die schon in Turnieren verwendet wurden oder zumindest das Potential dazu haben.

After some weeks of hard work, the mappers and myself are proud to present you the maps which are going to give the CTF- and TDM-scene of Warsow fresh blood.

Now it`s on the community to give the mappers feedback, what`s good, what`s not so good, what would you prefer and what would help the maps getting more competitive.
For this reason there is an open-beta test-phase where the publicity can download and write down their opinion on our forums, without registering!

You have time until 23rd of July to feedback the maps. Not all mappers have sent their map on the deadline, so there are still some maps to be released.

The contest started 2 days ago and we realised that we need the help of the community, of YOU.
It is really hard to find sponsors for such a new and unknown game that has no big tournaments. Right now the prize-money is 40€, which is sponsored by us, qubism, but I think there should be more. After the success of our CTF-tourney I hope that we can success in the next cup as well. This time it will be a TDM cup. After this, you just have to come to the IRC on Wendesday and confirm until 21CET that you are available to play, so we know that you are in the cup.

Registration is open from today until the 23rd, which is the date of the contest-start. You can find the rules and the registration-link on the left side. This contest is to bring up new TDM and CTF maps for Warsow, so only maps that are designed for CTF or TDM are going to be judged. Sign up!

I am proud to announce one of the first CTF cups for Warsow.
You can sign up on Sunday 18th from 21h CET to 21:15 by joining our channel #qubism and contact me. Then tell me your clanname and give me your playerlist, that`s all.
Since I don`t have a clue about the real number of clans (a small list can be found in this esr-thread) I will set the number of teams allowed to participate to 8 and the system to 4on4, if there are 16 or more I will increase the limit of participants. The cup starts right after the sign up, at 21:15CET!
